OK, so the "staff" now is just me and this old Dell computer that used to be on my office desk that can't even upgrade to Windows 11! That being said, here is a little bit about me:
Dr. Martin Passen graduated Magna Cum Laude with a B.S. degree in Biology and Psychology from Tufts University in 1986. He graduated from The University of Maryland School of Medicine in Baltimore in 1990, and completed his Internship and Residency in Internal Medicine at University of Maryland Medical Center in 1993. Dr. Passen was subsequently selected as a Chief Resident for Internal Medicine (1993-1994) and elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society. Since then Dr. Passen has been in the private practice of Internal Medicine in Baltimore, Owings Mills, and Lutherville, Maryland. In July of 2009 he closed his Primary Care practice to focus full time on Obesity Medicine.
Dr. Passen is board certified in Internal Medicine and Obesity (weight loss) Medicine. He is a member of the American College of Physicians, the Obesity Medicine Association, and is a past president of the University of Maryland Medical School Alumni Association. Dr. Passen resides in South Florida, though still spends some time in Baltimore; and also enjoys skiing, golf, hiking, exercising, and spending time with his family.
